Another amazing day for the Flitton Potato Race. Well done Simon Sadler, all the organisers and volunteers. That was probably the best yet!

We have some good looking specials on over Friday & Saturday this week before we get into the Potato race BBQ on Sunday. Specials are always limited and once they are gone they are gone. We are still serving breakfast this Saturday and I am not sure everyone knows this but our license allows us to sell alcohol from 10am so if you fancy a mimosa or a prosecco with brekkie we have you covered.

We now stock Hawkstone Zero and i have to say its rather delicious. Our non alcoholic range is bigger than ever including ciders, many lagers and of course Guiness zero.

Please be aware I have seen a blue tit in and out of the cigarette box on the church hall today. I can hear babies!! I've put some food and water out in ramekins if anyone is wondering who put them down.

Chicken and leek pie. You may think this kind of weather puts people off pie but it turns out it doesn't. We made 6 of these last week and they all sold out. 6 more on the way this week.
