A little honesty from me ❤️
Good morning everyone,
I wanted to share a little honest update with you all.
From next week, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Ava’s on Tuesdays for the time being.
It honestly hasn’t been an easy decision to make. I have some wonderful regulars who have been coming to Ava’s since the very beginning, and I know Tuesdays are a day that some of you love coming in. ❤️
The truth is, Tuesdays have become our quietest day. When we only have a couple of bookings, having two members of staff in just doesn’t cover the cost of wages and running the café. And as much as I want to be open for everyone, I also have to be realistic and make decisions that are right for Ava’s.
I also have to admit that I need a day off! 😂❤️
I work so hard behind the scenes to keep Ava’s going, and sometimes I think I forget that I’m allowed to have a little bit of time for myself too.
This isn’t necessarily forever, and I’ll keep an eye on how things change. But for now, I feel it’s the right decision.
Thank you, as always, for understanding and for continuing to support my little café. Whether you’ve been coming since day one or you’ve only recently discovered us, I genuinely appreciate every single one of you ❤️
