I'm sure most of us can say we have been heartbroken at some stage in our lives ....
If not by the loss of a loved one, or worrying maybe for a loved one, a relationship issue or a family circumstance, when it happens you feel so broken, You almost feel everything around you is crumbling 💔
As I sit and type these words tonight, I am reminded and was reminded this week of the deep pain of the loss of a loved one, I have seen in the past number of months people in the local community stand out as we have watched a family making a final journey with a loved one 🤍

Tonight I'm grateful that I know and understand the real true love of God, and the verse below explains he is so close to the brokenhearted hearted.

The closeness spoken here means we don’t carry our broken hearts alone.
We don’t suffer alone.
We don’t grieve alone, because Jesus Himself comes even closer to carry our hurts with us.
He's not a far away God he is so close ...
The things that break our hearts break His even more, and they have the potential to bring us closer to Him.
But we need to remember: It is God who moves closer to us in our times of greatest brokenness, in fact, He comes down low.
Even on days when maybe we don’t feel Him,
He is there,
He’s always close—for one of His job descriptions is to be close to the brokenhearted.

I Pray tonight for those in need of peace recieve it In the Mighty Name of Jesus 🙏

You are so deeply loved by the one who sees you.

Humility ✨️

The English word “humility” is connected to the word “humus,” meaning ground or soil.
This is where the
He's down-to-earth’
Saying comes from.
It’s seeing things as they are, on the ground level, without pretense or show.

This definition shows us humility includes yielding to God. The opposite of humility is pride and arrogance; some who presumes to know better than everyone else does.
The thing is ....We exist for God, not the other way around.

The bible says -

Jesus modeled this by washing his disciples' feet and giving his life as a sacrifice for humanity 🙏

People who are truly humble actually hold within themselves a powerful confidence; after all, they don’t feel the need to bring attention to themselves or be first in line because they know they are primarily serving the God who always sees 🤍

In a world where we see people wanting the attention of so many people, wanting to be louder than the next person, wanting to have better than others, just pause tonight and think what is this all for ?
I was one of those loud attention seeking people till I realise what Jesus did for me ..... 🤍

With the 2nd batch of Ice Cream vouchers in the hands of the students of Fivemiletown College
I have had the pleasure of meeting some this week....

But I cannot let this weekend pass with out mentioning 5 young ladies who dandered in yesterday with their vouchers ❤️ I really am getting so much joy from meeting all these amazing kids !

So little did they know it was more than just an exchange of a voucher for an ice cream sure I love to chat 😉
So asking their names and what they are up to over the weekend.

I shared with them a few things about the coffee shop and of they went.

It reminded me of the period in my life when I was faced with deep sadness ..... It is so important that the people in your circle will be the right people to Minster to you support you, talk to you, listen to you, cover you, and pray for you ...

I shared this with those five girls that no matter what happens talk to each other, share worries with each other and that God is so very real and he does hear their prayers and knows their hearts.

I would have loved someone to tell me this back then, instead of seeking, finding and leaning on God I leaned on a bottle of wine in fact a lot of wine to help me deal with things, did it help no, did it help me understand and give me peace no, did the wine love me no but God did ♥️

Don't just have friends to make up numbers have the right people who count, cover and pray for you.

There is simply nothing more precious than a prayer from your heart for someone in need ♥️
It's such a beautiful thing to do 🙏

These young ladies came back today for breakfast and I'm sure I will see them again they blessed me so much.

Mid Week Reflection.....

Have you ever Started something and into it you start to get fed up, maybe distracted, or maybe you took on too much, or it just wasn't what you thought it was going to be like ? 🤔
I'm sure we can all relate to this at some point in our lives ..
The thing is God doesn't give up on us.

This verse is a reminder that God finishes what He starts.
Paul encourages believers that their spiritual growth and purpose are not abandoned halfway—God continues shaping, strengthening, and completing His work in them.

So keep focused don't give up, you are the apple of his eye and he sees you !
