Last night was the much requested return of our Mama Mia night...and oh what a night!
Thanks to Mel The Pocket Rocket who lead the sing-a-long and to George & fabulous kitchen team for their culinary delights as well as beautiful team Gun FOH who go above and beyond when it comes to service.
We have been asked by lots of people to put on a second night and we've listened!

Next Monday is the return of Mama Mia
I've been quiet on posting about it as it sold out pretty much immediately I'm sorry for those missing out.
For the lucky folks that booked a table here's a reminder.
The evening will start from 7pm
Food being served at 7.30 4 Greek inspired courses & a glass of Greek wine.
Pure holiday vibes
(get in contact with any dietry requirements, we shall contact you this week for choices of mains)
The sing a long interactive part will begin when plates are cleared and the sun has set.
Bring something warm for later on in the evening.

For wild wanders

Hello! Thank you everyone for all the support this last season for wild wanders! I’m so grateful to all the friends, family and total strangers who decided to try out a guided walk with myself at ! As we move into late July and the summer holidays, there have been some exciting new dates and plans for wild wanders that I can’t wait to share!

Firstly, are you looking for a way to get your little ones out of the house this summer? Mini wild wanders makes its return this summer holiday!! Running every two weeks, expect guided countryside walks, bug hunting and seasonal crafts and learning about local plants, birds and habitats! DM to book in, limited spaces.

On top of running mini wild wanders biweekly throughout the summer, I’ll be hosting Wild Wander Club as a free, community focussed walking group once a month. This will be free of charge and all abilities welcome. The walk will be guided, sets off from The Gun Inn, and (as always) will have a focus on spotting nature and wildlife but the primary aim will be connecting with community and each other. DM to sign up - or simply arrive on the day! More details regarding timing and routes to follow.

Just taking a few moments to appreciate the pub in full bloom ignoring that the bloom might be lifting some tiles but instead imaging it's helping to hold the building together.
Lots going on here currently, portuguese night, wine art, wine tasting, wild wanders, foooooootball a new a menu loading and all with what is currently a garden the perfect mix of sunshine and shade.

This Wednesday it's the return of Wine art
(and yes the football is on but that'll be outside!)
It's a two parter a first for Wine Art,
First week looking at artist Barbara Hepworth & making pinch pots.
Second week painting pots & quaffing!
£25 per session includes glass of vino & all materials required.
