As part of our weekend long beer festival, a fabulous afternoon of Live Music in the garden kicks off about 2pm. The Cult of Ffynche play a brilliant set, some classics you know, some you’ll discover anew. The weather is set to be glorious, so come and indulge in the fantastic ales, and in addition to our delicious pizzas we’ve got scrumptious burgers. Our BEER FESTIVAL starts on Friday - ending on FATHER'S DAY on Sunday. We have a fabulous day planned for SATURDAY - featuring The Cult of Ffynche musicians & special guests. Bring your family and friends, bring a picnic rug, bring a chair, bring a brolly, bring a thirst and an appetite. We have a great selection of tasty real ales and guest ciders to try - alongside your regular favourite tipples. Back by popular demand, on Saturday only from 2pm, we will be serving delicious gormet burgers from our BBQ by the Lion Cub - as well as our fabulous hand stretched pizzas. So come have a wander around our beautiful village, then grab your spot in our lovley garden and settle down for the afternoon. Our ‘Thursday Thing’ continues this week with our celebrated Summer Quiz from 7pm. All the nonsense of the infamous Sunday Quiz, but not as long so even better! Roll up, roll up, this evening we’re continuing to go Bingo-barmy here at The Lion! On the first Thursday of every month, get your Legs Eleven down here for 7.30pm and settle in for a truly ridiculous evening of good old fashioned nonsense. It’s £2 a game with all the money staying in the pot for prizes🗝️💃🥂🤓🍕🍺🕺🏼

Calling all you fabulous women!!! It’s the last Thursday of the month again, the time when other fabulous women here abouts head to The Lion for a lovely evening of chitchat and laughter in our beautiful and cosy top bar. Arrange to meet friends here if you like, but don’t feel you have to - if you come along on your own we’ll find you a spot and in no time at all you feel part of the wonderfulness. We talk about whatever the f**k we want, put the world to rights, and always leave feeling more heard than we have all month.
