Apparently people are saying that we are closing at 9pm on a fri and sat night - good old Filey eh! 🙄 We just want to clarify that this is not true…when we say we will be closing earlier this does not mean 9pm, it means we won’t be staying open till 1 or 2am as we are licensed until. Thanks guys! 🙌

You may notice over the next few weeks we may close earlier than usual on a Fri and Sat night. This is to avoid any continued trouble. We have both tried so hard over the last 3 years to make this pub somewhere our customers feel safe. After 2 serious incidents over the last month, this is not something we are willing to become a regular thing and unfortunately if this means we have to close early then so be it 😔
Over a weekend evening if we feel any negative atmosphere building or notice any tension between others then we will close before things get out of hand. We do apologise to those affected but hopefully these were isolated incidents and we can continue to trade as normal before we know it. Thanks guys 🩷
