Baker's Snacks and Beach Chalets

Hi all,

The Cafe will be closed tomorrow (14th July) so we can attend the funeral of our deeply missed colleague ❤️

EDIT: Back to normal now!

Sorry its another apology post!
We won't be serving any fried food today as we're having maintenance on our extractor fan.

We'll still be able to serve toasted food and cold sandwiches though 😊 As well as our fab selection of cakes and ice cream.... even if the sun is hiding today 🌞

Hi folks 🌞 Apologies but we will be closing at 1pm today for essential maintenance on the balcony.

If you're coming to see us, please be aware that we'll have to begin turning the griddle off and cleaning up before this point.

Thank you!

aaaand...... We're going to closed again on Wednesday due to the weather.

The Coble Landing is like an ice rink so it's not safe to open again.

It did look beautiful this morning though🥰

Due to the weather (again!) we will be CLOSED tomorrow (Tues).

The state of the roads is just too slippery to risk staff or customers travelling to us and we expect it to get worse tonight 😔

If you need your Filey fix, the Tracket we**am is still live!

03/01/2026

The current plan is to be OPEN tomorrow (Sunday) however we may close quite early if the weather makes a turn for the worse!

Our heating will definitely be on! 🥶

We are CLOSED today due to the weather and it being unsafe for our staff to travel.

Please stay home and stay warm 🧣🧤

Notice to current chalet rentals ⚠️

Due to the freezing weather we've had to turn off the water supply to prevent damage.

We apologise for the any inconvenience and if you require water for kettles etc, please feel free to request this from our cafe.

Also the cobbles are very slippery so please take care!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄❄️

This year has certainly had it's ups and downs but we're excited for 2026- facing January with indoor heating will be a treat ☃️

We will be closed on the 25th to give everyone a well-deserved break with family but will be back on Boxing Day as usual.

Tonight's out first night opening late for the Filey Fishtive Tree lighting in the new cafe! 🎄

Keep warm with our indoor seating and a great view from our windows and balcony... Plus the usual range of hot drinks available ☕️

Looking forward to seeing plenty of familiar faces tonight!

Photo is of our own tree which Charles lovingly picked out just for the balcony 💚
