great news the wheatsheaf will open its beer garden ? this afternoon from 2pm if you would like to come down please let us know as we have limited space ? all beer and lager prices will be £2.50p per pint until we reopen the inside of the bar 17th of may

Just to remind friends that the wheatsheaf does not get VAT relief on any beers we are charged at the full 20%. Just in case people get mixed up with VAT reductions that is for food and accommodation so don't think that we are profiteering from any cut in VAT. the small local gets very little and what we do get goes on overheads that are ongoing even when we are unable to open
