We had a lovely lady come to the shop today and drop off some squares off to give you as she cannot make it.

🧶 STITCHES BY THE SEA 🏖️
Join us for a relaxing morning of crochet, knitting, and community by the sea!
We'll be meeting by the beach out the front The Ark, Felixstowe, to crochet and knit squares that will be sewn together into blankets for local people in need as part of the Craft Forward Blanket Initiative.
Whether you're an experienced crafter or have never picked up a hook before, everyone is welcome. Come along to learn a new skill, meet new people, enjoy the fresh sea air, and help create something meaningful for our Felixstowe community.

What to bring
* A blanket to sit on
🧶 Your own yarn/wool if you'd like to use it.
🪝 Crochet hooks or knitting needles if you have them.
No supplies? No problem! Some yarn and crochet hooks will be available to borrow, and beginners are very welcome.
Refreshments & Supplies
The Ark has a wonderful selection of yarn and craft materials available to purchase, along with delicious teas, coffees, and tasty treats—perfect for a little crafting break!
Weather Plan ☔
If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply move inside The Ark, so the event will go ahead rain or shine.
Bring a friend, your current project, or just yourself—we'd love to see you there as we craft together for a great cause.

🎨We have a mix of animals, creatures, lights, planters, yarn bowls and other amazing items as well as mugs, plates and bowls etc. We have the biggest and best range in the area ‼️

Don't forget we can cater for parties and groups too and also our takeaway ceramic pottery painting kits are available if you want to take the fun elsewhere.

Great for pet paw prints, Baby hand & foot prints or just as a chill activity at home with friends or family.

Fancy something a little bit special why not ask about our Crafternoon Tea Experiences 😋

Are you organising a hen do, baby shower, hen do, date night, activities for Schools and Nurseries, fun at the nursing home etc. the possibilities are endless.

🎂 Happy 2nd Birthday to The ARK Felixstowe 🎂

Well we've made it to 2 years and I'm so happy ☺️

Things have changed since i opened and i love that, it still continues to grow and become better each month. The people who share The Ark with me help to make it such a special place.

It has become my second home, my happy place where anyone is welcome and has become a safe space for so many 🫶.

To my family who have lost me for the last two years to the shop and thanks for coming to help whenever I need it and for keeping me going😍.

To the amazing Ark family, (much more than just staff) who support me and the Ark community daily 🫶.

To the wonderful crafters who share the space to showcase their beautiful items. 😊

To the Crafty Buggers who bring so much laughter and joy on a Tuesday afternoon.🤣

To the talented Creators who run the most skillful workshops and share their skills.👍

To the other local small businesses who work together to create such a unique town.💪

To the Breast Friends cancer support sewing community group 💟 thanks for choosing to have the sessions with us, growing in numbers every month, the love in the room is heart warming.

To the loveliest customers anyone could wish for, thank you so much to everyone who has visited us at The Ark over the past couple of years and supported me and the other crafters, you're just the best friends and customers anyone could wish for.

If the next year goes as well then I will be the happiest and most grateful person to be able to continue to meet so many inspiring and unique people.

I had a customer this week say to me that they love the shop and dont want to tell anyone about it as they want to keep the hidden gem to themselves 🤣. Please don't, in today's climate small businesses need all the support they can get to try and keep going. There are so many things you can do to help that cost nothing......
