Hello it’s Dan, I just wanna say thank you to everyone who supported the cafe in the last 5 and bit years will miss you all and miss all the banter and laughs we have had in that time I have met some really lovely people on the way ❤️

Thank you to all the staff who has been part of the cafe really much appreciated for all your hard work.

A massive thank you to you lewis for giving me the opportunity 5 years ago to work with you running your cafe. If it wasn’t for you I would be rotting at the dock 😂 I have seen some moods from you and myself that I never new existed 😂 but we both stuck by each other and pulled through the tough times we had. So many laughs we had with each other and our customers. You’re a great boss and an even more awesome mate. Love ya mate and here’s to our new ventures 🍻
P.s I’m gonna miss the fat jokes 😂😂

This week sees the final week of the café. We've been overwhelmed with all the support the past month so thank you so much. We really do have the best customers.🤍🖤

Next weekend we have our 10% off for all the Ipswich supporters who have a match day ticket on Saturday. On Sunday is the last chance for that last Breakfast or our fabulous Sunday Roasts. Booking for this day is advisable due to the already high demand. Sunday also will have extended opening hours these will be confirmed during the week.

If your able to get yourself down one last time we'd love to see you.

Good Afternoon.

Sometimes in life good things must come to an end so with a very heavy heart The crescent cafe will be closing it’s doors one final time on Sunday 31st August.

Both Daniel and myself have come to the decision to end our journey together. For the Five and a half years that we’ve been open we've had some absolutely amazing times, We’ve created some wonderful memories together and we’re so proud of the business. The last year we’ve worked so hard to keep things going but the increases of our overheads and constant pressure of raising Food prices has made things so hard to keep it going any longer.

From the beginning we were hit with covid restrictions within the first two weeks of opening but your support throughout that time was amazing. Our Afternoon teas became a lifeline to people that couldn’t see loved one and wanted them to have a special gift on their birthday, anniversary or any other special occasion. Last year they we’re voted the best in Suffolk which was a massive achievement for us.
In recent years our Sunday Roasts have sold out nearly every Sunday which is amazing for such a little venue turning over tables once or twice over most weekends and increasing opening hours.

So from every cup of coffee to every buffet we have loved every single minute. So thank you so much to each and everyone of you that have come into the cafe or have shared or liked the posts I’m not to sure you know just how much that means to a small business like ours but it’s worth its weight in gold. So from the bottom of my heart thank you.

Until we close at the end of August it’ll be business as normal so if You’re able to come in and see us one final time we’d love to see you. If You’ve got buffets planned in August they will still be going out as normal so please Don’t worry.

On a personal note Thank you Daniel. Your Hard work and dedication to the job in in hand has been nothing but amazing You’ve been through every emotion with me and my God there’s been a few. Good Luck with your new role I know you’ll smash it and we’ll continue to keep the friendship/bond for many years to come.

Also I’d like to thank all of the staff past and present for your hard work you guys are just as important to this business as we are so Thank you.

A special mention to Mark and my Parents who after months of me banging on about opening up a cafe gave me a life line for me to live that dream so again thank you. I really couldn't of done this with out you're love and support.

This really has been a very special time in my life and I’ll never forget the love you’ve shown towards me and the cafe.

So on the behalf of myself, Daniel, Mark and all the staff here at the Crescent Cafe we Love you and Thank you all.
