🚗 A little parking update for Farnham Park

You may have spotted the new parking meters appearing around the Folly Hill car park. They’re not up and running just yet, but we know a few people have been wondering what the changes will mean.

The good news is, it shouldn’t affect a normal visit to Birdies, a round of golf or a trip to enjoy the park (as this is what this carpark is intended for) 💚

Once the new system is live:

☕ Up to 4 hours parking is free Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
🌳 Parking is free outside these hours, so evenings and weekends remain free
⛳ Plenty of time for a coffee, lunch, a walk or play in the park or a visit to the golf course

So please don’t let the sight of the new meters put you off! We’ll share any further information once the system actually goes live and we know exactly how it will work.

And for our Friday and Saturday live music evenings, parking remains free after 5pm 🎶

Another welcome return on Saturday with Brobed Stils, a brilliant local band and firm Birdies favourite, bringing their mix of soul, Motown, rock, blues, reggae, ska and more.

🔥 Heaters ready if the evening gets chilly!

Friday is first come, first served with no table bookings. Saturday is also first come, first served, aside from our large group booking area.

And as always, no outside food or drink please. Supporting our bar and food is what allows us to keep putting these evenings on. 💚

☀️ There’s still plenty of summer left at Birdies! 🎶

We might be heading towards the end of August, but we are definitely not done yet. We’ve still got 12 nights of live music to come before our summer season wraps up at the end of September. ❤️

Some familiar Birdies favourites are returning, alongside plenty of bands making their Birdies debut, and there is a LOT of brilliant music still to come.

Every Friday and Saturday, come down, grab a drink, order a freshly made stone baked pizza and enjoy an evening of live music with us. 🍕🍻🎶

We’ve absolutely loved this summer so far. The support from everyone who has come along, brought friends, tried a new band, bought a pizza, had a drink or simply sat and enjoyed the music has been incredible. It genuinely keeps these nights going.

💚 Thank you for a lovely Saturday evening at Birdies!

A slightly more chilled one for us tonight, but what an evening of music. 🎶

A huge thank you to Been-Jammin for stepping in at such short notice and getting the evening underway for us. We really appreciated it!

And then The Oddball Band… what a talented bunch! Such brilliant musicians and an absolute pleasure to have back at Birdies…They sounded fantastic tonight! 🎸🎻

Thank you as always to everyone who came down, bought a pizza, had a drink and spent their Saturday evening with us. Whether we’re absolutely packed or enjoying one of our more relaxed evenings, your support genuinely keeps these nights going and we’re so grateful for it. 💚

A lovely crowd, beautiful summer evening and some seriously good live music. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. ☀️
