Tucked away in the backstreets of Fareham, this incredible hidden gem is well worth a visit ☕️
Situated on the shores of Fareham Creek, directly on the path of the new King Charles III England Coastal Path, Tides coffee shop is the perfect pit-stop whether you’re walking from Portsmouth, out with the dog (they’re dog friendly) or simply looking for somewhere peaceful to relax.
I had a couple of hours to kill last weekend, so took advantage of the free WiFi and got some work done on the laptop. I managed to grab a seat right by the window overlooking the creek, the views from the window alone was worth the visit, not to mention the historic building it sits within. The bare brickwork has a magical charm 👌👍
There’s a huge selection of homemade cakes, traybakes, bagels, paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pancakes and waffles, alongside one of my favourite coffee blends from Low Tide Coffee.
There’s plenty of on street parking nearby, major bus routes within a short walk and Fareham train station is around a 20 minute walk away.
Definitely one to add to your list if you’re exploring Fareham or looking for a waterside coffee spot out of town, perhaps on a day trip to stretch the legs along the beautiful stretch of the coast.
