Dear friends, wonderful guests and our extended Ukrainian Soul family

This journey has not been easy.
To be honest, it has been challenging.

We built our dream team from the ground up.
We refined and perfected our menu.
Step by step, we earned your trust by listening to every suggestion and every kind word.
We built not just a business, but a true community.

Over the years, we have experienced it all: tears of exhaustion, the incredible joy of success, small setbacks and unforgettable achievements. But through it all, we stayed strong.

Together with you, we have created one big, warm family. We are proud to say that we found our place and showed how love, passion and teamwork can create something truly special.

What comes next?

We are not stopping. We are simply expanding our horizons! 🇬🇧

Many of you were sad to hear that our restaurant in Falmouth has closed. But we want to reassure you that this is not the end. It is only the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Ukrainian Soul will soon be opening in more cities across England and, we hope, one day around the world.

If you have ever dreamed of becoming part of our growing family, we would love to hear from you. We are always open to new partnerships.

For now, we are taking a short break to rest and recharge. But we promise to come back with even more love, inspiration and exciting ideas.

🌿 Maundy Thursday before Easter was always different.
Even the air was thicker then… as if filled with someone’s breath, someone’s warmth still lingering between the walls.
Once upon a time there were two women in this house.
Mom and grandma.
Grandma sat, wrapped in a scarf, and looked at mom as if she remembered her every move.
— “Daughter… don’t rush…” she whispered.
— “Easter cake is not bread… it’s the soul…”
Mom was silent.
Only her hands worked – quickly, habitually, but somehow carefully… as if she was afraid of breaking something.
As if more depended on this dough than just a festive table.
I didn’t understand then. And now I understand.
When mom put the Easter cakes in the oven, grandma got up, went over… and crossed herself over each one.
And she said:
— “Maybe… it’s my last one..”
I remember that moment.
I remember - and I still can’t forget it. Now… it’s quiet. There’s no grandmother or mother.
There’s only me, my sister, the children, and Maundy Thursday.
The process and traditions are unchanged, and you can always hear grandma’s voice, her own, quiet voice:
— “Don’t rush…”
I close my eyes — and I see them.
Grandma… sitting and watching.
Mom… kneading the dough.
And when I take out the Easter cake… hot, alive, I whisper through my tears:
— “Mom… it turned out…”
— “Grandma… I remember…”
Because it’s not just bread.
This is love that never dies. 💞
