We do not have a drinks license but you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. We have mixers,soft drinks & bottled water at competitive prices. Dogs are welcome with a well behaved responsible owner. Please feed dogs from a bowl on the floor. Do not allow them on the furniture.

The Massive Closing Down Sale is now on at 11am SAT 31st & SUN 1st through until late.
Catering equipment, crockery, tearoom & restaurant sundries, furniture, crockery & tableware, glassware appliances ,vintage & retro goods, as well as WW2 memorabilia, so why not get yourself down & take a look. All goods reasonably priced but discount available on some multiple purchases
We will also be selling off tinned food & frozen food in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements & why not grab yourself a great bargain?

Our final SUNDAY ROAST kicks off today at 12noon, before our closure on SATURDAY 31st May.
Today's meats are 32day Prime Aberdeen Angus Beef, Free Range Rare Breed Pork, Free Range Turkey Breast & Home Roast Gammon.
Our vegetarian option is Wh**ky Glazed Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash with Pearl Onion Tarte Tatin
All served with Green Beans, Fresh Carrots, Peas, Honey Roasted Parsnips, Proper Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding & lashings of thick gravy.
We are closed next weekend Saturday & Sunday 24th-25th May for a family wedding.

OUR LAST DAY IS SAT 31st MAY 2025
Roast served 12 noon to 3.30pm every Sunday. The last Sunday Roast will be SUNDAY 18th May, as we have a wedding the following weekend..
Just a few tables left for Sunday Lunch this weekend (4th May 2025 ).
Choose from our Free Range Roast Turkey Breast, Prime Cornish Roast Pork, Homeroast Gammon , 32 day hung Prime Cornish Roast Beef or our Vegan option. (extra 30min as cooked to order)
All served with a selection of locally grown seasonal vegetables, Roast Potatoes and lashings of scrummy gravy & Yorkshire Pudding.
Tables available from 1.30pm up to 3.30pm ( last orders) this week

Announcement
It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we have to announce the permanent closure of our three business ventures at The Curious Hall: Bygone Days Trading Co, The Four-Teas Tearoom & our evening seafood restaurant The Blue Lobster.
Over the last year or so, our health has shown a marked deterioration and with recent diagnosis & up coming surgery, we feel it is now time for us to make our health a major priority. Over the last year, we have struggled to give the attention to the businesses and the future doesn't see an improvement in our health either.
We will miss our wonderful and loyal customers, and we would like to thank them for their loyalty and support over the last five years. Many have become great friends, both locals & visitors to the town and we would love to stay in touch.
We have some great memories over this time that will remain with us always.
Our last day of Trading will be Saturday 31st May 2025 .
Most of our equipment, fixtures & fittings will be for sale, so we will be announcing sale days in the near future.
In the words of Dame Vera Lynn- "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when but I know we'll meet again some sunny day"
