It was all going so well…..
So, I wanted more photos of our delicious ice cream for the socials to entice y’all to come and try the goods 🥰 (I decided to scoop New York Lime Cheesecake because it’s my fave and I was obvs going to eat it once photographed!).
I took the obligatory photo with Bambi’s in the background (safe)…above Gylly beach with the glorious view (safe 😮💨)…walked down to the beach in a hurry before it melted (safe).
As I crossed the sand now headed straight for the sea to get the ultimate shot of slightly dripping, delicious Treleavens Luxury Cornish New York Lime Cheesecake ice cream in a classic waffle cone over crystal clear turquoise waters, BOOM!
It was on the sand (surprisingly still in tact) 😭 with 3 seagulls surrounding it screaming to their gangsters buddies to come a get a bite!
Oh, no! Not on my watch!
I remembered that I’m bigger than they are and I hadn’t even had a lick of this ice cream, so I was not going to let them have it!
So whilst straddling my very sad ice cream, I had to take the opportunity and photograph the criminals eyeing it up on the sand for photo evidence, picked it up, took a couple more photos because the seaweed it landed on made the perfect flake 😂 and put the whole thing in the bin! I was not going to let those sky ninjas win this time! 🦅
Moral of the story is, eat your ice cream before you get to the beach. Once you are there, the seagulls think you’re fair game and every piece of food that walks onto the beach is theirs too 🫠
