Thank you for keeping us so busy this week and in fact over the whole summer. We've been so much busier than we dared hope for. We're now on a much-needed break and will be back on Wednesday 16 September.

Well that happened way more quickly than we expected! We're now fully booked for afternoon tea on 31 May. If you missed out and are interested in a 3pm sitting let us know using the booking form on our website. If we have enough interest we'll add the extra sitting.

Afternoon tea at Sprout on Sunday 31 May 2026. Finger sandwiches, savoury bakes, scones with whipped cream and jam and a selection of sweet treats, all washed down with unlimited tea or coffee. All plant-based and made in-house, of course.

Booking details to follow very soon but numbers will be strictly limited to ensure a comfortable, chill vibe in the cafe. We're not saying liking this post and tagging someone else will get you priority when we open bookings, but we're not *not* saying it...

Our spicy lentil and spinach soup will keep you lovely and warm in this cold weather. Made by us with gluten-free ingredients, it comes with a side of our house sourdough focaccia or naturally gluten-free chickpea flatbread.

We're right by the Christmas market so if you want somewhere warm and dry for lunch or just a cuppa, come find us at 1 Cathedral Yard.

New at Sprout: dips and small plates to cater for all appetites, moods, and level of hunger. Sadly, the sandwiches have gone to make way for these but it allows us to offer more variety while also offering more gluten-free options. Our sourdough focaccia is still available as a warm side, or try the herby chickpea flatbread made with gluten-free ingredients.

Everything, including the bread and flatbread, is made in-house by us on the premises.
