Happy World Vegan Day! 🌿✨💚

I thought I’d mark the day by paying homage to the chicken that started it all, my precious Roxy 💚

I wasn’t a normal child, I was a bit odd and roughly 50 chickens as my pets - Roxy was my favourite!

Being around these sweet, gentle souls made me realise I never wanted to eat one again and later down the line it’s what ultimately inspired me to find a suitable alternative that means my feathered friends stay off peoples plates!

This year so far we have sold 175kg of southern fried “chicken” alone, that number is likely doubled when you account for how much is eaten in sandwich form which means you’ve helped save roughly 250 chickens from ending up as a meal, and I can’t thank you enough!

Whether you’re the whole hog or just eat our “meats” as a once a week swap for their meaty counterparts, thank you for choosing kindness ✨

We officially beat our record for best ever Fryday Friday tonight!

Classic “honey” and almond, white chocolate and a festive ginger and sea salt - these bars are absolute weapons and will be perfect for a treat to Santa! 💚

You’ll be terrified to know that tomorrow is our Spooky Edition Fryday Friday!

In case it’s your first time popping along to one or simply have a few questions, please check out the following FAQs:

👻 Are dogs allowed? Always!! We will also give out a cheeky prize for the best dressed pooch!

👻 The weathers looking a bit rubbish, can we sit inside? We will have plenty of seats inside to hide from the wind and rain, they are first come first serve but we rarely have trouble seating folks! Everything is available to take away too 💚

👻 Can I reserve anything? We don’t offer reservations I’m afraid as it can just get too busy to keep up with stock, but I’m hoping to make a generous amount of fodder to get us through the whole night!

👻 When is it busiest? Generally there is a bit of a rush at 5pm and then again at about 6:30-7, if you’re worried about missing out then I’d recommend getting down as early as you can!

👻 Will you have anything gluten free? Our loaded fries can be made gluten free on request, and I will make sure we have a gluten free sweet treat too

👻 What will be the pricing? Mains will be between £9.50-£10.50, whilst sides and sweet treats will be between £5-£6.95!

Hey friends and loved ones - we’re back open today and have some most delicious bakes in the building!

Fresh out of the oven this morning we have some soft cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing, with a decadent chocolate cake to follow later today 🤤

Swing on by between 11-3 - I’ll even show you the dress i picked if you ask nicely!

Hey pals - really sorry to hit you with another random close but we shall be closed tomorrow due to staff shortages - I’m escaping the deli to do a spot of wedding dresses shopping and our covering team are down with the poorlies - back open as normal Friday and Saturday!

Ewww it’s so stinky outside - you know what isn’t stinky? Coming and grabbing a big old sarnie and a sweet little treat from us ✨

In our sweet treat line up today we have our controversial Gochujang Caramel Cookies - sweet, cinnamon cookie dough with a hint of umami spice, these cookies sure do divide opinions (we’re on the side of them being delicious!)
