With the amount of you that are coming along and bringing Dad out for a bite to eat, we’ve decided to stay open later, in order that we can look after more of you.

We will now be serving our Fantastic Sunday menu all the way through until 6pm, so if you haven’t yet booked anywhere, look no further.

LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY

QUIZ NIGHT WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE

We have had two table become available for our incredible quiz, this coming Wednesday evening. Either table could accommodate up to six people, so any of you avid quizzers out there, this is your chance to come and join us.

This evening is ordinarily sold out well in advance, so act fast if you want to be a part of it.

This month, we are starting off a bit early, at 6.30pm, in order for anybody to be able to watch the first England game of the World Cup too…. So you won’t even have to miss that.

We’re ready to go…… The ales are all tapped, vented & settling beautifully.

The gins are on the shelves, garnishes ready to prepare & mixers nicely chilled.

We’ve even dug out the bunting for you all, just to make the place that little bit prettier.

Our very first Gin & Ale festival starts tomorrow, all the way through until Sunday Night. The BBQ will be fired up, and we have some incredible live music for you tomorrow between 5 & 7pm…. You really don’t want to miss out on what we hope to be a fantastic weekend.

Our very first Gin and Ale Festival, here at The Diggers Rest.

We have a fantastic weekend of great drinks, great food & great entertainment planned. & it even looks like the weather is going to play nicely too.

We genuinely can’t wait to welcome you all here & look forward to seeing you.

SATURDAY…. BBQ in the garden throughout the afternoon , plus an incredible live music set between 5 & 7pm from the ridiculously Talented Michael Collings.

SUNDAY…. Enjoy one of our beautiful Sunday Roasts, & soak up the the afternoon sun with a few gins….

We are hosting our very first Gin and Ale Fest

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June, we will have on offer, a fantastic range of over 20 gins, in a variety of flavours, all accompanied by a selection of complimentary mixers & botanicals.

For the beer lovers, we will have a great range of 8 or more real ales available all weekend too, including crowd favourites, local brews & craft beers…. Plenty to whet your appetites.

PLUS….. on Saturday, we will be cooking up another of our incredible barbecues in the garden for you, so we’ve even got the food covered…. What more could you want ?

PLUS PLUS….. we have the phenomenal Michael Collings playing a 2 hour live set of outstanding acoustic music & songs between 5 &7 pm on Saturday.

All this and our ever popular Sunday lunch, as normal between 12 & 4pm

We really have thought of everything for you, so make sure to pop along over the weekend. Enjoy a few beautiful drinks & soak in the local vibe here at the new look Diggers Rest.

We have on offer our delicious truly homemade pies along with any pint of your choice from our full range of ales, lagers and draft cider, and as an alternative for ladies a medium glass of any of our house wines. To top the evening off we have Rhythm and Shoes hosting their amazing Open Mic Night.

Don’t forget, this coming Wednesday 3rd June we are hosting our fantastic open mic night once again. Brought to you by the incredible duo that are Rhythm and Shoes, it promises to be yet another evening of variety and great music.

PLUS…… It’s a double date event that evening, as we are also holding our Pie and Pint night in our beautiful Beehive Restaurant.
