Letā€™s end the week on something positiveā€¦

Remember that World Cup sticker book? And remember Arthur organising possibly the biggest sticker trading event Fordham has ever seen? Well, yesterday he very proudly wanted me to let you all knowā€¦ HEā€™S FINALLY COMPLETED IT!

Every sticker. Every page. DONE. āœ… Thereā€™s been swaps, duplicates, negotiations that would put Premier League transfer agents to shame, and plenty of hunting for those last few elusive stickersā€¦ but he got there! (Maybe brought the last few šŸ¤«)

As they say at little manā€™s schoolā€¦ perseverance. Never, never give up. One very proud little lad, and a massive thank you to everyone who swapped, traded and helped him along the way. Have a brilliant weekend, everyone!

Weā€™ve got October & November absolutely rammed with events to keep you lot occupiedā€¦ because apparently just coming to the pub for a quiet pint isnā€™t enough anymoreā€¦.

Weā€™ve got Deal or No Deal, Charity Quiz Nights, Steak Day, Pie Day, Play Your Cards Right, Killer Pool, Bingo and the return of Lucky Luke & the Country Band for Halloween! šŸŽƒ

And then on Saturday 21st Novemberā€¦ somehow, unbelievably, The Crown turns 1!! So obviously weā€™ll be having a proper birthday party for that one!ā€¦

Loads going on, loads of chances to win stuff, eat stuff, drink stuff and generally avoid sitting at home watching telly as the nights draw in..

Today is basically all about the roastā€¦.Weā€™re looking pretty packed, butā€¦.

Iā€™ve got one table for 6 available around 12:30. Happy to take a 4 on it too. First person to slide into my DMs gets itā€¦

Then tonightā€¦ BINGO! Weā€™ve already got nearly 50 of you booked in for our first ever bingo night! Iā€™m not even sure Iā€™ve seen 50 people in the pub after 7pm on a Sunday before!

Normally you lot come in, demolish a roast, have a few, start yawning and disappear homeā€¦.

I genuinely wasnā€™t sure bingo was going to be a hitā€¦ but as history has proven, Iā€™m usually wrong!

Eyes down from 7pm-ishā€¦ once everyoneā€™s got a drink, found their dabber and stopped arguing about the rulesā€¦.

Morning all!!
Just a little Saturday reminder from meā€¦ if youā€™re visiting us today, firstly, thank you! The church has an event running all day today, so please can I ask everyone visiting us to park responsibly and not park within the church grounds.

We love being busy, we love seeing you all, but we also quite like our neighbours speaking to usā€¦Happy neighbours = happy lifeā€¦ please be considerate, find a sensible spot and leave the church grounds clear for those attending their event. Flanks šŸ¤˜

Itā€™s Fridayā€¦ what a week.. letā€™s have it rightā€¦ the weather was absolutely amazing yesterday and it looks like weā€™re getting another cracking day today, so letā€™s make the most of that b**r garden while we still can!

Rightā€¦ back to some normality after the madness of this week! Iā€™ve just had a look at Sundayā€™s bookings and weā€™ve still got a few limited tables available for our roast platters. If you fancy joining us, get yourself booked online before they disappear there donā€™t hang about for long normally!

Today itā€™s business as usual, food from 12:00 - 20:30 and drinks flowing until 23:00 šŸ¤˜.

And donā€™t forgetā€¦ Sunday night is our VERY FIRST BINGO NIGHT! Eyes down at 7pm, so if you fancy getting involved, come down and letā€™s see how this one goes!

Ohā€¦ and the handymanā€™s coming in too, creating a little something to mount something rather special on the wallā€¦ Youā€™ll have to pop in and see that one for yourselvesā€¦.
