We are excited to announce that on Saturday, 13 June, Elveden Hall will open its doors to the public for a special one-day festival, Stories of Guinness.
Set within the extraordinary house — once home to the Guinness family and rarely accessible to the public in its full splendour — the festival brings together a carefully curated programme of talks, conversations and performance.
Across the day, the story of the Guinness dynasty unfolds alongside the wider world it inhabited — from empire and inheritance to architecture, land, and the shifting meaning of the great estate itself.
Writers, historians and thinkers will bring these themes vividly to life inside the house, culminating in a cabaret-style operatic finale in the staggering, Mughal-style Marble Hall.
A rich and varied day, shaped by the history of one remarkable family and the enduring questions it raises.
