Well that is it...
The last ever time I closed the shutters to my little business with a few family and friends.. obviously I had to joke around to keep myself together... not like the others 😅 now the hard work starts... mission clear out the property.
Song Bird Cafe-Bar will forever be a huge part of my heart.
The people I have met.. the teams, the customers and the friends I know I have made for life.
I remember walking into that place as an official business owner.. meeting Sophie and thinking I hope she knows what she is doing because I don't! 🤣
Growing our little team with Emily, Megan, Bekka, George, Lucie, Alicia and Ella.. with the occasional help from Family & Friends I really couldn't have done this without any of you!
I am so proud of the fact we still hold the title for the biggest afternoon tea challenge in the UK. What a huge hit that was!
I also want to give a HUUUGE shout out to all the businesses in Elland that have supported us over the last 4 years.
I want to give the biggest shout out to Jeneen at The Jackson Flower Co. That woman single handedly held me together through the whole of Lockdown and more.. She has not only been a good friend but has also been that mother figure I have really needed since losing my mum. Please continue to support her and her little business. She is based behind the cafe via Gordon Street.
Thank you thank you thank you to every single one of you... even the hand full of bad reviewer 😂 from the bottom of my heart thank you for welcoming this common batley lass to your home town, taking a chance on me and supporting me and my story.
I hope I have left a legacy worth remembering.
The future is a mystery... you never know where that little Song Bird may fly to next!
We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
2023 let's be having ya!
❤💛
