Ahhh Saturdays.

When Claire, Anna and our newest recruit Phoebe come together to create what can only be described as beautifully organised chaos

Claire: “Right girls, let’s have a nice easy Saturday.”

Anna: laughs in coffee machine

Phoebe: still new enough to believe Claire

Before long, Claire’s doing her usual “where’s that gone?” routine
Anna is somehow everywhere at once and Phoebe is being gently introduced to the sacred MNMS Saturday tradition of panicking for 30 seconds and then absolutely smashing it

There’s coffee flying, cakes disappearing, orders being shouted across the café

If you’ve ever heard Roly say “fit like?” while carrying enough soup to feed half of Moray and the highlands you’ll know exactly the man we’re talking about

He’s been oot deliverin bakes, makin soup, chattin absolute mince and generally keepin everybody right for years

🚨 CAFE UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately, we’ve had an issue with the mains water supply to the café this morning and the water is currently running brown!

Because we need a safe and clean water supply to operate, we’ve had no choice but to close the café for today while the issue is sorted.

We’re really sorry to anyone who was planning to pop in today especially if you were coming for your usual coffee and cake fix

We’ll keep you updated and let you know as soon as we can and hope to reopen tomorrow

Some need constant attention

Some disappear for three months and come back with a new flavour and a podcast

Carrot cake turns up on time does what it says on the tin and has never once texted “u up?” at 2:17am

No nonsense

No drama

Just carrot, spice, frosting and quietly getting on with life

Honestly if cakes had LinkedIn profiles, carrot cake would have been at the same job for 14 years and everyone would describe it as:
