Make an afternoon of it with our Afternoon Tea at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant, located inside the National Galleries of Scotland.

Enjoy a selection of freshly filled seasonal sandwiches, freshly baked scones and petit fours created by our talented pastry chefs. Served with unlimited tea or americano coffee, the perfect way to round off your visit after exploring Catherine Opie’s powerful photographic portraits.

Our Afternoon Tea is available daily from 12pm-4pm.

As part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Flute Loops will be performing live at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant on 23rd and 30th August.

Join us from 2:30pm-4:30pm for an afternoon of live music alongside our seasonal Scottish menu, showcasing some of the best produce from Scotland’s larder.

Using just a microphone, guitar, flute and loop station, Flute Loops creates a completely live and improvised performance.

Ahead of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, two Typhoons and a C-17 Globemaster took to the skies above Edinburgh.

We were lucky enough to catch the flyover right from our terrace.
