We’re in Canonmills, where you’ll find us cooking up the very best brunches, served all day from brunch to tunch….along with afternoon tea, light bites and antipasti. For the nearby worker bees we offer takeaway breakfasts and lunches. Oh, and did we mention the table tennis table?! We reckon we have Edinburgh’s only table tennis table in an eating and drinking venue…tell is if we’re wrong though!

To all our wonderful customers,

It is with a heavy heart that Karen and I need to inform you that the Blue Bear has closed its doors as of Monday 27th February.

It has been a very difficult decision to make but due to the economic challenges of the past few years, it is no longer sustainable to keep the Blue Bear going.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our customers over the past 6 and half years for making their custom.

And a huge thank you to all our wonderful staff who made working at the cafe such a fun and dynamic place to be. We are grateful for all your hard work and commitment.

We will miss you all
