Back in 2012, with a desire to move home to Scotland and an eagerness to try something new two lassies from Brechin took over The Cellar Door Restaurant.
How difficult can it be we asked ourselves?
Throughout the years, we found out that it could be extremely challenging but this never got in our way and it never clouded our judgement that we had made the right decision.
We could write a book with the tales of hospitality but these things shaped us into who we are today and make us so proud of what we've learned and achieved together ❤️
So, it is with a wee lump in our throats that we let you know that the time has come to hang up our aprons and lock up that cellar door for the final time 🥹
Firstly to our small but loyal team..
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️ You guys have worked so hard and shown us tremendous support. We appreciate you so much more than you'll ever know ❤️ We would also like to thank previous staff (you know who you are) Thanks for everything, we really do appreciate the help some of you continued to give us ❤️
To our customers...
A huge thank you for supporting us for 13 years!
We really appreciate you guys standing by us when we know times can be hard ❤️ Together, we have created so many great memories, and we are so proud you chose us to celebrate your special times with 🥰 Slàinte Mhath to you all 💙
And last but not least, to family and friends..
A huge thank you to everyone for all your continued support ❤️ whether it be dog sitting, doing odd jobs or for even just considering us for a Saturday night out (though you knew we'd probably have to decline) 😂
God knows we have missed out on a lot of over the years due to our commitment but please be warned.. we'll be off weekends soon and open for invites 😂🥰 🥳
Our final day of trading will be Saturday 18th October. Please pop in by if would like one final bite to eat or a wee dram with us, we'd love to see you 🥰
