We put five words on a reel this week. They're the five things we never compromise on.

Flavour, because Bengali and North Indian cooking each deserve to be done their own way. Quality, held to the standard we set when we opened in Haymarket in 2002. Warmth, which starts with the welcome at the door and carries on with hot lemon towels at the table. Service that gets your dishes to you on hot plates. And the experience of a table covered in plates, with everyone sharing.

Three reasons to dine at Ignite, all in one reel.

The cooking — Bengali and North Indian, both taken seriously in the same Haymarket kitchen. We're proud of the awards, but the King Prawn Jhalfrezie says it better than any trophy: green chilli, peppers and fresh coriander, with a heat that builds.

The welcome — hot lemon towels at the table, and a team happy to point you towards the dish they'd order themselves.

The choice — halal throughout, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes on our menus, so everyone at the table eats well.
