One. Last. Scoopz!

After 15 years, the OG Scoopz Southside will be closing its doors, with our final close on Sunday 10:30pm.
When we opened in 2011, Scoopz was proud to be one of the pioneers of late-night desserts in Edinburgh. From video-screen menus and iPads on every table to music and live TV in store, some of it may now feel like a relic from another era, but at the time, we were always trying to bring something new to the city.
Southside has given us so many unforgettable memories: the chaos and noise of Super Saturday at London 2012, when the whole shop erupted as Mo Farah won gold; training with the legendary Josef Boni of Mr Boni’s Ice Cream; countless creative selfies left on our iPads; serving “Gorgeous” George Galloway; being part of every Fringe Festival; and, of course, launching the mighty 1-litre Scoopzilla milkshake.
Most of all, we want to say a huge thank you to our amazing customers and dedicated staff over the years. You made Scoopz Southside what it was.

While the Scoopz brand will be leaving Southside, a familiar face in the Southside community will be taking the reins to adapt the business - more to come on this
