Built over three floors with a bar on each level, we can accommodate every event that you have in mind. Whether you wish to dance the night away on our main bar, or even hire out our Bier Keller as a your own private room, we can do it.

Ever wondered what stood here before the Monster came to life? ⚡🧟

Long before Frankenstein's became one of Edinburgh's most iconic bars, our home at 26 George IV Bridge was a 19th-century church. Today, those soaring ceilings, gothic architecture and stained-glass windows create the perfect setting for a tale inspired by Mary Shelley's legendary creation.

From a place of worship to a home for monsters, cocktails and unforgettable nights out, this historic building has had quite the transformation, wouldn't you agree?
