We are open for collection !! 🙂

After Covid , redecorating and then flooding we are finally at last open for collections again. We know a lot of you thought it would never happen and we know it’s taken a long time but got there at last so thank you for sticking with us ! So whether it’s for collection or delivery we’ve got you !

Dear Customers,

We tried to push back this post until we had more concrete information to share.
Unfortunately, we are still waiting.
Many of you ask about the shutters being down on the Origano Go.

We didn’t have the best start to the year as Origano Go got flooded (not through the fault of our own). We really thought we will be back up and running quickly but another week goes by and we are not much forward. The extent of the damage is more significant than we hoped for and we are working with the insurance company to get everything sorted as soon as possible.

We were trying to figure out how to proceed in the mean time in a way that assures none of the staff are badly affected by the temporary closure. This is what we’ve come up with in the short term.

We will be running the delivery service from the restaurant Sundays through Thursday from 5 until 10 o’clock. We have transferred the phone line so the number is still 0131 555-1009.

It just isn’t possible for us to open for delivery on Fridays and Saturdays in the current form no matter how much we tried to find a way to make it work. ( and I promise try we did).

We will try to keep you posted as soon as we get some information on the reopening.
In the meantime your support now means more than ever! So thank you so much to everyone who called in or ordered via Just Eat since Monday while we were trying to find our bearings in the new settings.

Don’t worry the restaurant opening hours remain unaffected so pop in if you fancy having a sit in meal!

You probably have seen other places writing about this, we normally wouldn’t mention it but we find ourselves in an unusual situation. So here it goes…
If you don’t have preference as to how you order your delivery if you could give us a call rather than using Just Eat it would help us keep the costs to minimum. Don’t worry if for whatever reason you prefer using the app! We appreciate all the orders!

As we close the door on another New Year’s Eve, we are all so grateful for your continued custom and support over the last year.
We will be taking a couple of days off now so will be closed on the 1st and 2nd of January. Both Origano and Origano Go will reopen on Monday the 3rd at 5 o’clock.

Dear customers,
Due to the combination of the current COVID-19 situation/ wave, the rising number of cancelations, and a number of our key staff members having to self Isolate after being flagged as a contact by NHS track and trace, we have taken the difficult decision to close the restaurant a few days earlier for Christmas. We we will close tomorrow and will reopen (restrictions permitting) on Tuesday 28th of December at 5:00pm.

To all those whose reservations we had to cancel, our sincere apologies. We hate to disappoint but have been left with no choice.

Origano Go will remain open for deliveries up until and including the 23rd of December as per usual from 5pm - 10pm.
