I honestly thought I’d be a lot more caught up by now, but it seems I still have some catching up to do!
My baking and decorating orders are always my top priority, and I’m working hard to stay on top of them. I had hoped to be fully caught up with admin by now, but that hasn’t quite happened. I’ve never had so many quotation requests in my inbox at once! It’s amazing and I’m incredibly grateful—thank you all so much. Alongside a few personal commitments, it’s been a little overwhelming, and I’m doing my best to work through everything as quickly as possible. Every time I answer a batch of messages, more seem to arrive!
I’d also really appreciate it if anyone I’ve sent a quotation to could let me know as soon as possible whether they’d like to go ahead with their order, as available spaces are filling up very quickly and i have people waiting for me to confirm their date requests.
One final note: being “ghosted” is quite common in this line of work, so I don’t usually follow up on quotations. I’m not a pushy salesperson—I prefer to leave the decision entirely in your hands, and if you’d like to book, you can simply get back in touch. That said, it’s always appreciated when people take a moment to let me know they’ve decided not to proceed, as a lot of time goes into preparing quotations and it can be a little disheartening when they’re met with silence.
