❤️ A little note from us at The Red Lion ❤️
What a phenomenal start to the week we’ve had already! Thank you so much for your continued support. With some lovely weather hopefully arriving later in the week, we’d like to gently encourage anyone planning to join us for food to book ahead where possible.
As many of you know, while we have plenty of space across our dining areas and garden, our kitchen is actually very small in comparison. During busy periods, especially at this time of year, we can reach our capacity much sooner than it may appear.
If you pop in and the bar doesn’t seem particularly busy, please remember that we often have a full garden, as well as diners upstairs, all being served from the same kitchen.
This is why we always recommend booking where possible. It helps us manage service and ensures we can look after everyone as well as we can.
Please know that we never want to turn anyone away.
If we’re unable to take food orders, or if there is a wait for food, it’s because our kitchen team is genuinely working at full capacity to maintain the quality and service you deserve.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to wait, books ahead, and shows patience and understanding when we’re busy.
