Hello Retford 👋🏼🍂

Apologies, we’ve been a little quiet on here lately - but we’re still here, serving up all your MeltAway favourites (and plenty of new ones too! 🤎).

We hope you’re all enjoying our new Autumn Menu, which has arrived alongside some surprisingly lovely autumn sunshine! ☀️🍁

If you haven’t been in for a while, consider this your little reminder to come and see us 🥰 Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or simply a catch-up over something delicious, we’d love to see you!

🍂 Our opening hours:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 3pm
Saturday: 9am - 4pm

🍳 Kitchen closes at 3pm Monday - Friday and 3:30pm on Saturdays.

Walk-ins are always welcome, so pop in and let us do the cooking 🤎

We’re hoping to see lots of you making the most of the very last day of August with us! 🥰

And the photo shows yet another little something waiting to make its way onto our upcoming new menu… 👀

🇵🇱 Grilled Polish Sausage served with fried onions, bread, potato wedges, coleslaw, gherkins and, of course, ketchup & mustard 🤤

It might be a new one for some of you, but this is a proper Polish classic - simple, hearty and SO good. Just trust us on this one 😉

And let us tell you… once August is over, MeltAway officially enters autumn mode - which means one very exciting thing… MENU CHANGES coming soon! 😍🍁

This one is always one of our favourites, so we’re VERY excited to see it making a comeback 🤩

Toasted crumpets topped with warm baked brie, cherry compote, toasted pecans & fresh blackberries, finished with a drizzle of honey and cherry sauce 🤤🍒🍯

Sweet, savoury, warm, gooey and very autumnal 🍂

A little update for tomorrow 🤎

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we unfortunately need to close tomorrow, Wednesday 26th August.

We'll be back open as normal on Thursday, and the good news is we'll also be OPEN this Bank Holiday Monday 🥰 So there are still plenty of opportunities to pop in and see us!

Apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you so much for bearing with us through a slightly tricky August. We really appreciate your understanding and support 😊
