☀️ Kitchen Closure Tonight ☀️

Due to the exceptionally hot weather we’re experiencing, our kitchen will be closed this evening. The health and wellbeing of our staff is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we take steps to ensure they can work safely and comfortably.

🍻 The bar will remain open as normal, and we’ll still be serving a variety of freshly made baps for anyone looking for a bite to eat.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you for a drink and a bap tonight!

Ysgethin is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshingly cold drink and a meal you do not have to stand over the stove and cook yourself whilst it’s sunny.

We have a beautiful play area for children, with benches to sit by the river, an open front beer garden with parasols to keep you shaded and a cool indoor eating and drinking area (dog friendly spaces too).

We just ask that you be mindful of our staff over the next few days. With the bar staff running around in this heat trying to get you all served as fast as possible, we also have a team of hero’s in our kitchen. The heat in there can get unbearable when it snows in the winter so you can only imagine how it will be tonight and tomorrow with temperatures reaching up to 70 degrees over the grills.

Please be patient, please be polite. We can only do our best.

At the Ysgethin we’re proud to say that most of the dishes on our menu are homemade right here in our kitchen. From hearty favourite mains like our steak and Guinness pie, pulled brisket chilli and our home battered cod, home made sriracha mayo to top our delicious dirty fries, delicious sticky toffee pudding with secret ingredient sauce, gluten free chocolate brownie and our gluten free and vegan friendly crumble plus so much more. we put care, quality ingredients, and plenty of love into the food we serve.

We believe great pub food starts with fresh ingredients and homemade cooking, giving you the comforting flavours you know and love.

We purchase all of our meats from our local butchers London House Stores - Spar Dyffryn. Thank you for supporting local and choosing to dine with us. We look forward to welcoming you soon for a meal that’s made with pride.
