A very special outing for us today.
We’ve been meaning to visit .rye for years and today we finally jumped on the train and headed down to .rye.shop
We stuffed our faces with pastries, drank coffee and walked away with bag full of goodies and bread
Thank you Robbie for finding time in your busy day to come and chat to us all things bread, flour, fermentation, lamination, enzymes, protein, etc etc
If you are ever in Newcastle this place is an absolute must

It’s a wrap. Today we say a very emotional farewell to The Riverside Bakehouse.
Thank you little bakery for all the wonderful times, for the laughter and the tears, for smiles of satisfied customers, for muddy foot prints of tired walkers, for waggy tails of happy dogs, for never ending crumbs all over the floor, for hot sunny days in the courtyard and cosy winter weekends with a nice cuppa on the cafe sofa.

This lovely space, however, won’t stay empty for long. Danni and Andrew who live in Abbey St Bathans will soon be reopening it as
We will miss The Bakehouse dearly but new chapter awaits us and we are excited to move forward. Watch this space!!!
