With less than a week to go till the first Scotland match we don’t have the numbers to open the pub to show the matches.
We said at the start we’d need 20 people to sign up to each match to make it worth our while.
We don’t want to cancel at the last minute as we need to give the 9 folk that have signed up time to make other plans.
We’ll give this another day or two to see if there’s any more interest but then we’ll cancel the events

If Scotland go through to the next round we’ll look at the matches again, and hopefully the timings are better

A very well deserved win for the boys!

MOWI Premiership. Col Glen 4 Lochaber 2.

Points on the board! Col Glen get a historic first ever Premiership win.

Goals from Andrew Tyre, Andrew MacVicar and 2 from Sam Bulloch sealed the deal for the Glen.

In a game mainly controled by Col Glen, Cally McNaughton who is sponsored by Brian McNaughton picked up man of the match after a dominant performance at full back.

A win in the premiership is proving elusive so your support on Saturday would be much appreciated

This Saturday (6th June) Col Glen 🟡⚫ are playing at home against Lochaber Camanachd Club in the MOWI Premiership. Throw up 2:30pm at the Clachan, Glendaruel. This match will be sponsored by Kizzie Burke (Kizzie Illustrations).

Our second team, Strachur Dunoon 🔵⚪ are playing away against Bute Shinty Club in MOWI South Division 2. Throw up 2:30pm at the Meadows, Rothesay.

We’ll be open for the opening match of the World Cup on June 11th

We have a late licence for the three Scotland matches BUT due to the timings of the matches we will only open if 20 people sign up beforehand

A big day of shinty is set for today (Saturday 23rd May) at the Clachan, Glendaruel, with a cracking double header in store.

Throw up is at 12 noon as Strachur- Dunoon(our 2nd team) take on Stirling Camanachd in a South Division 2 clash to get the afternoon underway.

Then at 3pm, the stakes rise as Col-Glen Shinty Club face Glasgow Mid Argyll Shinty Club in the Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Semi-Final.

Two matches, one pitch, and plenty of action from start to finish.

Make sure you’re there to back the teams and be part of it.
