Have you got your tickets for Cowal Highland Gathering yet?

It is a great celebration involving Scottish live music, family entertainment and Highland games!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As usual, both the cafe and shop are CLOSED this Saturday 29th August to allow our team to enjoy the games!

We are OPEN every other day, with our regular morning and lunch menus and the addition of this week’s specials - Cranachan Brioche French Toast and Highlander Baguette!

Many of you may have heard of this produce and possibly even tried and bought some at the Taste Dunoon Food and Drink Festival last month🤩

It’s great to add it to our selection of local and Scottish producers available to purchase at The Blairmore… and More🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🛍️

This weekend we took part in Taste Dunoon, the first food and drink festival in the Castle Gardens, Dunoon!🤩

A massive thank you to Dunoon Presents, Ciorsdan and Colin for organising such a great event. It was a huge success, bringing positivity and many visitors to the town (over 5,000 attendees!)

It was amazing to see so many local and other businesses at one venue, broadcasting their produce!

Thank you for keeping us so busy. We didn’t get chance to take many photos, so here’s just a few!

Hopefully it’s the first of many Taste Dunoon festivals to come!😁

Apologies for the radio silence on our social media the past couple weeks… it’s been lovely to see many of you at The Blairmore, and in Dunoon this weekend!

Here are a few things that have been happening this month:

Congratulations to Fiona Alexander, the winner of our customer World Cup sweepstake, winning a £50 voucher to spend in The Blairmore🥳

The Waverley continues its sailings on Loch Long, berthing at Blairmore Pier, bringing some customers to the village🌊

We hosted a Steak Night as one of our pop up evening events on Friday, thank you to everyone who joined us🥩

Finally, we took part in Dunoon’s first food and drink festival, Taste Dunoon, at the Castle Gardens this weekend (further post to follow)🤩

Thank you for your support!

We continue to be open seven days in the shop and six days (closed Tuesday) in the cafe, 9.30 am until 4.30 pm. See you soon❤️
