We hope you're having a great week even though it's not as sunny as it could be! ⛅ Hurry up and show us your rays, summer! ☀️

Well, even if it's not so bright outside, you're guaranteed a sunny and warm welcome from the Shieldbank Coffee Shop team. And in the spirit of sunshine, how about a delicious golden bowl of Trish's soup? These ladles of loveliness are Sweet Potato, Coconut with a hint of Chilli (Vegan) on the left, and Lentil & Ham Hock, served with a scone (plain or cheese are available) as a wee change from a crusty roll.

Did you know that our soups are available to purchase frozen for your convenience at home? Just ask and we'll be happy to stock you up! You may wish to bring a freezer bag. ❄😊

We're open until 8pm tonight, and from 10am until 6pm for the rest of the week. Hope to see you soon, friends!

We hope you're having a lovely weekend, and that you pop through to Shieldbank Coffee Shop for lunch or a delicious hot drink. Cosmo here recommends our smooth Italian Kimbo coffee, although he tends to settle for a bowl of water.

Meet one of our lovely instructors, Rhea, with our wee toot, Tinkerbell.

Did you know that if you are a coffee shop patron, you are very welcome to meet our beautiful horses and ponies - just ask one of the coffee shop staff for a wee tour of the yard. (Please be aware that our cute equine buddies mustn't be fed treats, and that under 12's must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We appreciate your understanding!)

We are open from 10am until 6pm today, and look forward to seeing you, folks, and are sure you will enjoy lunch or a coffee and sweet treat.

We hope you're having a wonderful weekend, folks, and we that we see you today for lunch or coffee and cake.

If you've got a pawsome pal, please bring them along as we are super dog friendly. This stunning fellow is Crusoe, one of the Shieldbank litter. He's now made his home in Dollar with Yelena (our former colleague) and her family.

We've always got a supply of doggy sweeties, and (essential in this hot weather!) fresh water for your pups.

And don't forget, if you are on "walkies" instead of driving, you'll snag our 10% walker's discount.

Ahoy, Shieldbankers, and happy Saturday!

It's that time again: our Quiz Night will be on on the first Wednesday of the month, as per, on the 3rd June.

We'll be setting sail at 7pm, so why not pop in early and get dinner from our galley? May we suggest a satisfying combo of soup and toastie/panini? If it's something sweet you fancy, choose from our range of cakes, cookies and scones.

Hello, friends,

We're having a lovely week, and hope you are too. Spike has some excellent advice for the middle of the busy week. Chill, humans, and relax! Find a spot of sun, a little shade, and if you don't fancy some Felix, pop into Shieldbank Coffee Shop for a delicious lunch, scone, cake, coffee, or even an ice lolly.

And Spike would like to point out his dear pal, Antonella, taught him a little Italian, and he's learned some nifty photography terms from Vic, so he's proud to share his knowledge with you. Spike is a chiaroscuro cat, basking in chiaroscuro light. The term comes from the Italian "light-dark". Professor Spike thanks you for your attention to his lecture.

If clever Spike has whetted your appetite for photography, Vic runs a photography club here every Friday evening from 7pm.

Rocky: Nice. Do you think we could get Trish to make us haylage soup?

We're not sure if Trish has a recipe for haylage soup, but we can certainly recommend her yummy Lentil & Ham Hock, Mushroom, Sweet Potato with Coconut & Chilli, and Leek & Potato. If it's a snack you fancy, have a soup with a wee crusty roll, or, for something more substantial, have a combo with a sandwich/toastie/panini/baguette.
