Below the Old Inn · Episode 2

Last time, we explored three rooms, a cobbled close and a timber walkway beneath Dunfermline’s Kirkgate.

This time, we descend another level: one room beneath the Old Inn, the other beneath the Creepy Wee Pub.

And inside the second room, a curved ceiling raises another question. Could this have been a store—or perhaps an ice house? We haven’t confirmed its purpose, but the contrast between the inside and outside is something to see.

Halloween week is upon us, and the lovely people at have been down with some themed bits to get us in the mood!

So if your out and about this Halloween come in and say hi, I'm sure you won't be disappointed given what our manager is planning on wearing... and if your heading elsewhere, there's no harm in nipping in for a quick shot on route. Maybe try the new orange Jäger while you're at it? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The neons will be going in our freshly renovated pool room so keep your eyes peeled for updates on that 👀😉
