The Tin Can Budgies are all ready to fly, and they kindly asked me to see them at their prom.

As a boss it’s hard not to become part of your young teams lives. It’s hard not to hear whether they’re up to. In fact these days I live my life vicariously through them.

My budgies Carlie, Hannah and Kirsten have been with us for nearly 3 years and my have they all grown up. Able to get jobs anywhere in the world as Baristas, short order cooks and front of house. Confidence and dare I say it eye contact a plenty and the ability to hold a conversation and be mildly cheeky, mainly to me 😆

Each one has a bright future ahead now that school is officially over and out. I’ve got them till they head off to college, university or wherever they choose. They are some team and why are they The Budgies… it’s the noise they create when together.

So budgies get those wings working and fly high in whatever you do next. Have a ball at your prom and make sure you’re all ok to work this weekend!!! ☺️
