A massive congratulations to our neighbours at The Brig & Barrel on being crowned Pub of the Year at the Scottish Hospitality Awards for the third year in a row – what a BELTER!

An incredible achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, passion and welcoming atmosphere that the whole team have created.

We’re proud to see our Belhaven beers pouring in a pub that champions great hospitality, great food and even greater company.

Absolutely humbled and delighted that we have won ‘Pub of the Year’ The Scottish Hospitality Awards for the 3rd year in a row. We celebrated the evening in Glasgow with some very special people who represented all aspects of Team Brig.

We had some amazing customers, staff and ‘Kev the joiner’ Kevin Gray who has been instrumental in creating The Brig from the very start of the journey at the awards evening with us.

It was an anxious wait but worth it and we also had some amazing lentil soup! 🍜

Thank you to all our customers and friends for voting for us. You are very much a part of what The Brig & Barrel is about.

Thank you to the staff for creating a fun environment/good service and quite simply delicious food & bevy.

You have all made James, Sarah & Haggis the pubs wonderpup 🐶 very proud!

Since we opened in 2019, against the odds we feel have created a community hub in Belhaven. There is amazing bars/cafes/restaurants in Dunbar, west barns and East Linton but Belhaven was left behind, especially with new housing going up in the area.

Our amazing customers have always been so engaging and we ask you not to just help support our community hub, but all the hospitality businesses in our area and also further afield throughout Scotland and the uk. Once these places are lost they will most likely never come back. Please sign the petition below, it is huge for this industry.
