Honestly dont understand some people,not sure people realise how hard it is at the moment to survive as a small business.someone ordered 2 mega breakfasts through uber eats last week,she later messaged the page to say she tried to get a refund through uber but got refused and wanted to complain because black pudding was obviously cooked in old oil because she had worked in a cafe and knows that was how it tasted.she told me the breakfasts were inedible and that she had put them in the freezer as she was going to take them to the council,I explained that our black pudding isnt cooked in the deep fat fryer but on the griddle in a small amount of fresh oil from a bottle,we have an open kitchen so you can see us do that,I also knew the breakfasts weren't inedible as I made them,and would never serve something inedible or that I wouldn't eat myself.i asked if she would bring the breakfasts back and we made arrangements for her to come the next day,she never came ,yet the council did,they agreed this was someone just being malicious as they also had not seen these so called inedible breakfasts and read all messages between ourselves and her.honestly we have the best regular customers and we would always appreciate people coming to us with complaints, I wouldn't want anyone paying for food they haven't enjoyed ,even if u order through just eat and uber we will always rectify mistakes or send our own driver back with missing items,keeping our customers happy is very important to us,but just being spiteful and trying to ruin a small business that works hard to keep customers happy is really upsetting.maybe karan needs to wonder why uber refused her refund in the first place,maybe because she is someone who orders and wants refunds regularly after scoffing all the food she ordered🤬
