Thanks so much to everyone who donated to our friend Braden’s 12-hour bowlathon. We’re so proud that Braden’s been selected to represent Scotland as part of the under 17s bowls team.

Here’s the team just before they started bowling ( for some reason there isn’t a photo after they’d finished!).

We now have the second book in the Cheery Gang Adventure series, by our local author Sherbet Gilesy.
The first book is selling quickly so we expect the second one to do the same.

Exciting news!
We’ve just taken delivery of a new book by Dufftown-based author Sherbet Gilesy. The book is aimed at children 9-13 years (ish) and involves a group of schoolchildren and their adventures. Book 2 is out at the end of this month and the third is already underway. Dufftown gets a mention so it’s a bit special and the author is happy to sign them.

Please drop in and buy a copy - I’ve already started mine!
