There is something to suit everyone from our large selection of freshly cooked meals all made with locally sourced ingredients freshly prepared in our newly refurbished kitchen, eat in or takeaway all meals and snacks from our menu are cooked fresh to order with daily specials always available on the notice boards. We can cater for every appetite from a quick light lunch / snack to a nice hearty meal, seasonal menus available all year round with the local favourites and a variety of daily specials always served, vegetarian options are available upon request. Baggeridge tea and coffee shop is owned and run by Dave and Julie Daly who own Freedom catering, a local catering company based in the West Midlands with over 20 years of experience in providing catering and buffets to local companies, events, shows and local councils all delivered free of charge within a five mile radius to local premises. Whilst you enjoy your time with us peruse all the information that we have available inside, giving the local history of Baggeridge Country Park from when it was formally the Baggeridge Colliery, a working coal mine part of the original Himley Estate owned by the Earl of Dudley to the present day where it is now 150 acre haven for nature and wildlife in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Freedom catering are able to host children's parties, company corporate events and meetings at the function room they have at Baggeridge Country Park they also provide the catering for Closer to the edge an active outdoor learning centre who are also based at Baggeridge Country Park, free mobility scooter hire available for more details enquire at tea rooms. Book your children's party for ยฃ5.50 per child. This includes chicken nuggets & chips, sauasage & chips, fish fingers & chips or a selection of sandwichs, as well as squash and a Mr Whippy Ice cream for after. Our parties are ideal to be linked in with a number of activies around the park including the Miniature Railway, Aerial Ropes, pond dipping, and many more.
