We are seeking a talented, experienced Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in culinary and administrative areas, while ensuring clear communications with the Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional, dedicated to food quality and high standards. Responsibilities
• Assist and support the Head Chef in tasks such as scheduling kitchen staff, with a focus on resource management and speed of service
• Organising preparation, arrangement, and plating of dishes
• Adhere to culinary standards, restaurant policies, and relevant regulations
• Track, record, and order inventory as needed
• Maintain proper etiquette, speaking politely with a positive professional attitude at all times
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree or culinary school completion preferred
• Years of kitchen experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, full service restaurant
• Be flexible with other kitchen-related tasks that vary with each shift
• Knowledge of best practices for training and implementing high class kitchen procedures
• High level of reliability and excellent creativity skills
