After years of neglect, refurbishment works shall commence late March 2020 to bring this popular village community pub back to life. red in more recent times through lack of investment and neglect. Listed on the National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors as it has remained largely unchanged for 80 years. In late 2019 a plan was agreed with the local heritage authorities to restore the pub to its former greatness of art décor grandeur.
