Local artists...we want you!

We are delighted to have partnered with @ and to kick off our fundraising, we will be holding a silent art auction for the month of September and October. We are kindly asking any local artists who would be interested in donating one of their pieces to this amazing cause to get in touch.

How it works:
-DM us if you’d like to donate a piece of your artwork.
-Your artwork will be proudly displayed at Pier 36.
-Staff, guests and visitors will have the opportunity to place a silent bid on their favourite pieces.
-At the end of the auction, the highest bidder will win the artwork.
-100% of donations will go directly to Cancer Focus NI.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our local community. Every piece of artwork donated will help us raise vital funds for a truly amazing cause.

If you’re a local artist and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you! Be sure to also tag your artist friends who would like to be involved to.

📩 Get in touch today and help us make a difference.

This is Grace McLaughlin, a Co Down mum-of-three who has completed swimming's Irish triple crown 🏊‍♀️

Grace, from Bangor, completed the feat by swimming the North Channel in 12 hours, 43 minutes and 57 seconds.

Her journey began shortly after 2am on Thursday when she left The Gobbins, Islandmagee, and swam to Portpatrick in Scotland.

A boat crewed by Newry-based Infinity Channel Swimming accompanied her and provided food and water along the way as she swam, progressing at 57-60 strokes a minute.

The 54-year-old is the 199th swimmer and 84th female swimmer to complete the challenge.

Known to her friends and family as "Amazing Grace", Ms McLaughlin said afterwards she was "thrilled" to have completed the swim.

"It took a lot of hard work and preparation but the feeling of finishing is fantastic – and difficult to put into words," she said.
