In 1877 a redbrick sawmill stood proud, looking across the fields of rural Suffolk. In its dust, nearly 150 years later, awakes Star Wing Brewery. Still a place where craft and industry meet, the tree rings of old are laid bare and new lines are drawn.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost three years since we first came to have a look at taking over Star Wing! 🤍

Like many of you, we had been big fans of the Star Wing Real Ales for years, but it was always the venue itself that we fell in love with.

And what a journey it’s been since! We’ve hosted weddings, wakes, parties, darts events, World Cup fan zones, car shows and so much more. That’s what we love about Star Wing — it has the potential to be something for everyone.

More recently, we’ve been focusing on the things we know you love — fantastic craft beers, tasty street food and a great atmosphere for watching live sport. 🍻

But the biggest thing we want to say is THANK YOU!

To everyone who has supported us over the past three years, whether you’re a familiar face at the bar, have celebrated a special occasion with us, brought your friends along or simply popped in for a pint — we’re genuinely so grateful. It really does mean the world to us.

We’ve learnt a lot along the way, and we’re so excited about what the future holds. We’ve got plenty of plans in the pipeline, and we’d love to hear your ideas too! If you’d like to host an event, big or small, please get in touch.

And some exciting news… for the first time since taking over, we’re going to be open ALL YEAR ROUND! 🎉

We’ll be here every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with hopes to extend our opening hours in the spring.

We really feel like we’re only just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what the next few years bring.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to plenty more good times, good beers and memories made at Star Wing.

We hope to see you soon! 🤍🍻
