Steak sandwich! How do you like your steak cooked ?

Me personally I like any where between blue and medium rare but any further for me personally is too much. Don’t get me wrong I’ve messed up some steaks it happens, well that’s what I tell myself.

Open steak sandwich served on a butter and herb baguette with guacamole, chimichurri and some coriander to top

Here’s we have it... it’s tomahawk time!
This steak was supplied by their website is in the comments below so go have a look and go get yourselves some top quality meat!

Many ways to cook a tomahawk this one l went for a sear on the wood then into a butter bath fry then to finish, covering with cast iron pan adding coals on top to turn the frying into a oven style cook. On the side for this one a bit of slaw, rosemary sautéed potato’s with a home grown salad except the tomato’s but our tomato’s are now ripe so watch this space.

How do you cook your steaks? Straight to grill? In butter? Reverse sear? Let me know...

This was truly special!

I’m a massive fan of French onion soup with that bread cheese top, so why not slow cook some chuck I got from The Organic Butchery with locally produced veg from chagfarm.

Now I didn’t have the correct cheese for this so I replaced with mozzarella but the dish was stunning
