Just the most awful news, RIP Aaron 🖤

It is with the upmost sadness that we are having to post this. Aaron Ayers sadly passed away yesterday after suffering a brain haemorrhage whilst fishing a match at the weekend.
Aaron has been a regular match Angler here at East Bilney Lakes and is considered to be ‘one of the friendliest and nicest guys’you could meet.
We must thank two people who stepped up to save a life on the day and did not give up until Medics arrived; they are Amy Marriott and Kevin Pilkington. To carry out CPR and show the unwaivered determination is nothing short of commendable.

We all send our heartfelt condolences for Aaron’s family and friends at this tragic time and our thoughts are with them.
In honour of Aaron we will be holding a Fishing Memorial Match: more details to follow in due course.

Lastly can we say thank you to everybody who tried to assist in such a traumatic situation, greatly appreciated.
Rest in peace Aaron ❤️
