What a fantastic National Fish & Chip Day we had yesterday!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful customers who came to support us. We know the queues were longer than usual, and we really appreciate your patience while waiting for your food. Your support means everything.

It was great to see so many of you trying some of our newer products too. The new po***ck was the least popular, but the mini haddocks went down brilliantly, and our skinless large haddock was a massive hit with customers too (sold out).

A special thank you also goes to our incredible team, who worked tirelessly from opening to closing. Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork helped make the day such a success, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.

After 26 years at Shelton Lock Fish Bar, we’re still amazed by the support we receive from our local community. Days like yesterday remind us just how lucky we are.

Thank you for supporting local, thank you for supporting our family business, and thank you for making National Fish & Chip Day one to remember.

Today, 5th June, we’re celebrating one of Britain’s favourite traditions – the humble fish and chips!
For over 26 years, we’ve been proud to serve the wonderful people of Derby with freshly cooked fish, crispy chips, and plenty of smiles along the way.
A huge thank you to all our loyal customers, staff, friends, and families who have supported us throughout the years. We truly appreciate every single one of you.
